Pork belly ? If you eat pork .. Then I'm sure you like the belly cut , a little fatty and the crispy skin is so good , but imagine its Saturday lunch and your alone , you see that pork belly in your fridge and you mind is grinding on what to do with it ?
It happen to me this morning , so instead of dumping it with salt and pepper in oven for a couple of hours and become a couch potatoe , I decided to cook it up 11 different ways ... Lol yes 11 ways !!
A Asian theme was a great match to the belly and a must for my lunch ..
After boiling the belly in a ginger ,onion , chili lemon grass broth with peppercorn and bay leaves , divide it how many ways you want it..
1. Lechon Paksiw (with dried Banana blossom)
2.Binagoongang ( shrimp paste )
3.mongo bean soup
4.crispy with liver sauce
5.bbq spicy vinegar
6.oven baked with sweet chili
7. Sinigang ( tamarin broth)
8.bicol express ( chili coconut )
9.green Thai curry
10.satay (peanut sauce )
So much fun treating my self for a great lunch ...
Yes all for me ... I just have so much fun for my self , imagine if you would be my guests ???
