From the day your born you learn learn more and more , you learn from your parents teachers , people and you try hard to develop yourself into the best person you can be without blaming others if failure creeps into your life ...
You run for independence at a young age finding what you think is eternal love often due to family house hold reason or the envy of a society that pushes you to grow up faster than you should , challenges meet you with decisions you make or people you meet ...
I tried hard to find happiness , thinking that a instant family would bring me that thing is was missing in life , adopting 4 kids and having one of my own , not a easy decision in a country that was already a challenge for any individual coming from a highly developed society ... But I took it on , working and abusing my body mind and soul till on almost gave up... I was chasing that happiness that was running away from me faster than light ! Till one day I realized that all my hard work and commitment was useless as the only thing people that I thought I was being there for was they wanted more and more out of me and didn't careless about the passion I had for my life and career , they challenge my job and lost the respect that gave them there own value they have or had to there life's ... My decision to cut all was very difficult at first very but now I see this as my blessing ,my healthy passion love and career is all strong ... The people that valued my changes in life are still around me...
The head cook runs the show
The executive chef, sometimes called the head cook or the "chef de cuisine", is the one responsible for running the food preparation in a kitchen. He or she takes on much more of a management role than anyone else on the kitchen staff. Executive chefs are usually employed by large restaurants, hotels, private country clubs and even cruise lines. Most manage a staff of at least ten employees.
The executive chef is primarily responsible for assigning responsibilities among the kitchen staff to ensure that food preparation is efficient. In addition to overseeing all food production, the duties of the executive chef usually include the following:
Manage food preparation and cooking. Ensure that food quality standards are met.
Cook food, either on a regular basis or for special functions only.
Plan the menu and create new recipes.
Prepare the budget, including projections of annual food and labor costs.
Train the kitchen staff to ensure the food is prepared according to budget and standards.
Perform a regular inventory of food supplies and equipment. Project future needs and place orders to ensure that they are met.
Ensure that the kitchen adheres to sanitation and safety laws.
It’s not uncommon for the executive chef to perform a minimal amount of cooking. However, this doesn’t mean that an executive chef must give up his or her love for food. Rather than filling dinner orders, he or she is involved more in the artistic, creative side of cooking. This is where your culinary arts education comes in handy. The executive chef must be on top of trends in the food-service industry and keep his or her menu fresh and appealing to the restaurant’s clientele.
The following skills, traits and other requirements are necessary for success as an executive chef:
An education in the culinary arts.
Experience in a kitchen environment.
Human resource management skills, including the ability to recruit and train employees.
Financial management skills, such as accounting.
Time management skills
4 years , wow ! time goes so fast when your having fun ,you spend a good part of your life in the educational world absorbing all this information and knowledge to make you a sucessful person in life, professional or personnal,we then spend more years trying to be successfull to that ! I have know spent the passed few years preparing the youth of the hospitality ready to grow in a very challenging industry ,giving them a glimps of the reality , and sharing to them my passion for why I became a chef , and for doing that its important to view it in this way
Look a it this way ,even if you sincerely desire a truly well-rounded education, you must study the extremists, the obscure and "nutty." You need the balance! Your poor brain is already being impregnated with middle-of-the-road crap, twenty-four hours a day, no matter what. Network TV, newspapers, radio, magazines at the supermarket... even if you never watch, read, listen, or leave your house, even if you are deaf and blind, the telepathic pressure alone of the uncountable normals surrounding you will insure that you are automatically well grounded in consensus reality.

Changing yourself completely can be challenging, but if you are constantly disappointing yourself and failing to be the person you imagine yourself being, you may need to remodel your personality and lifestyle.
Write down your flaws. Make sure to do this in writing so that it doesn't become an exercise in making yourself feel guilty by mulling over your short comings. Take pride in the fact that you want to change yourself for the better. Simple sentences such as I am overweightor I get angry easily will work best.
Write down what you like about yourself as a person first. This will provide a much-needed positive boost before tackling your inner turmoil. Focus on things you actively do such as I'm a good father or I remember to water my house plants.
Next to each flaw, write down why you want to change. As you are writing, make sure that the reasons you give are not because other people think you should change. If you cannot find a reason within yourself to do something, you will never succeed. Moreover, the opinions of others should not dictate how you live your life. Sample reasons for the sentences above could be I do not want to die young or I don't want to hurt the people I care about
Talk to yourself about your feelings and how you feel about yourself. Think about what causes these problems and think how you will live without them.
Once you have identified your problems and your motivations, brainstorm as many ways as you can think of to fix the flaw. It may help to write out what you would be like without the flaw, and then work backwards on how you could arrive at your destination.
Sort the ideas you've come up with into a to-do list format that you can actually do every day.You may require several tasks to fix one problem To continue with the examples Count to ten before speaking every time I am angry Not yell at anyone and Smile at everyone I make eye contact with may all be under the problem of being angry.
Execute your daily list, and measure yourself against it every evening. Watch for personal improvements and trouble areas, but don't let yourself get discouraged if you slip up.
As you begin turning your flaws into strengths, continue to add other things you would like to improve about yourself and the way you interact with the world.Always be striving towards becoming a better person....don't forget you deserve the happiness you built around yourself...

A Swiss trained Chef with a dual nationality Swiss, British with extensive international expertise, gained with leading hospitality brand. Born in Switzerland with British parents.
I started the culinary world at the age of 14 years old as a trainee during school holidays in 5 stars hotels in Geneva (Noga Hilton, hotel des Bergue). Later did my apprenticeship in the Noga Hilton where I spent time In the Cygne (two star Michelin during that time ) top fine dining under Gilles Dupont .
My life!!! Yes 102 countries and counting .... im just 45 years old ....
Can you imagine what is life without traveling? Is it possible? Whatever your reason is, traveling is a part of people's life. We all travel. The reason behind that is up to you.
Why would you want to leave the comfort of your own home and travel? The answer to that is simple: why not? There are so many things travel can bring you. New experiences, skills and pleasure are just a few examples.
Life becomes so routine that, once in a while, we crave a change of venue, a change of scenery. We escape from the dullness of our daily jobs and have some relaxation and fun. Then we enjoy coming back home and telling about what we saw and experienced.
Perhaps Reality TV and boredom have combined to create a thirst in people for adventure. Today individuals can take safaris, go on hunting or fishing trips, backpack into the wilderness, raft the whitewater, live on a wildlife preserve or working farm, or stay with local peoples. Sure, there can be a certain risk involved, but some get a kick out of telling the stiffs at work about the Bear they saw up close and personal.travel is risky , but boredom in life is more risky , specially for the mind ! Plan your adventure and travel .
Some like to travel primarily because of what things they can enjoy or procure with better quality and for better prices in another city or country. As long as customs allows it, there aren't many limits on what you can buy in other climes and bring home for your personal enjoyment. I would simply encourage you, if possible, to find products or articles in local stores.
And try the local food , experience it! You will soon go back the the comfort of your own fridge and snack cabinet !! Open your mind to new flavours .
The experience is unforgettable ,from having a pizza in Milan , ridding a camel in Sahara , beer in Amsterdam ,jet ski of the beaches in south east Asia ,watching a cabaret in Paris ,skying in swiss alps ,eating phad Thai in Bangkok, ridding a scooter in Saigon !! And the list in endless ....
When that rainbow is visible in the sky , the rain has past and you should follow it! Follow your dreams ambitions and goals ! I do and I'm achieving them ...
