In certain region of the world this time of the year calls for the hunters and for some special food creations related to "Game " this product is wild so need some extra attention !
I was delighted to be chosen to create a game dinner for friends last night based with wild Boar and Deer , two products I haven't been able to enjoy working with being in the Philippines for many years ...so with a little planning and some shopping the "Game " was on ...
First the shopping list

Chestnuts , pumpkin ,red cabbage ,Brussels sprouts ,potatoes ,onions , bolet mushrooms ,cocktail onions ,small pears ,tomatoes ,garlic ,chanterelle mushrooms ,plums , cherries ,wild berries , red current ,carrots , celery
Eggs ,flour,olive oil , butter ,puff pastry ,milk ,red wine for cooking (4 bottles)gravy , chicken stock ,grated cheese ,,bay leaves ,juniper berries ,sugar, port wine ,Parsley ,cream ,salt , pepper , dried herbs ,cinnamon , paprika , yeast , cereals ,fondue cheese ... I hope i didn't miss anything
